This week we met Susie and Jerry Cook with their dog Sophie. Susie has an unusual hobby - a passion for good graffiti and murals. She had come across the ART murals on the internet and travelled all the way from Long Sutton in Lincolnshire, specifically to view and admire our murals at first hand.
Susie is an accomplished amateur photographer and spent an hour taking shots of the tunnel and the adjacent Brig O' Doon. Well, it was her lucky day because it just so happened that our amazing artist Chris Rutterford was in the tunnel at the same time and they had a chance to chat about their favourite topic: murals! Susie said the vast community engagement efforts we have made were astounding and the blended artwork among the best she had come across. She was bowled over by the two Clydesdale horses.
